While prospective studio art majors are not required to submit a portfolio, you are invited to send ten to twenty 35mm slides or ten to twenty digitally photographed and/or scanned works of art on a CD or DVD. Slides should be encased in a 9" x 11" plastic slide sheet and be clearly labeled "VISUAL ART". Label each slide or print with your name, medium, size and date. If you choose to send your portfolio as digital files, each image should be submitted as a separate file in .jpg format. Individual file sizes should not exceed 3MB. You must also include a printed contact sheet/thumbnail page of the images on your disk. Please do not affix any adhesive labels to your CD/DVD. Portfolios much be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than January 15. Applicants who wish their portfolio returned should include a stamped, self addressed envelope.
