The Goldwater Scholarship

 -Scholarship was established for undergraduates in order to foster and encourage excellence in science and mathematics.
-Scholarship awards $7,000 for students who have demonstrated interest in and commitment to a career in mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering disciplines that contribute to technological advances in the United States.
