A Holiday Demonstration Cooking Class

When: Thursday, November 5, 2009; 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Where: Flavour Cooking School 7401 West Madison Forest Park, IL 60130

Cost: $35 per person

Join fellow Skidmore alumni, parents and friends for a holiday-themed cooking class at Flavour Cooking School, a quick trip from downtown Chicago and other western suburbs. Owned by Chef Denise Norton (alumna by association), partner of Skidmore graduate John Beckman '94, Flavour is a unique and special place for a party. Located in a restored historic bank building, the studio kitchen is warm, inviting and above all, a comfortable place to build confidence for your own culinary successes.

Having just been to Saratoga Springs for the first time this summer, Chef Norton created a menu reminiscent of the elegance that is Skidmore (that you, too can make at home): Italian bread and tomato soup with garlic croutons, smoked chicken with roasted red pepper and parmesan risotto and pecan mocha tart.

Join us for a night of fun, food and learning! Beer and wine are available for purchase during class.
