Skidmore Alumni Clubs

Skidmore Regional Clubs

The network of Skidmore Regional Clubs stretches across the country and around the world.  More than 20 regional clubs serve to bring alumni, parents, and friends of Skidmore College together for educational, social, and cultural opportunities which highlight the best of Skidmore’s founding principles and current strategic initiatives.

Regional clubs are an excellent way to build and grow social and professional networks, remain informed about campus news, and display pride in your alma mater.  From sporting events to faculty lectures, cocktail parties to museum tours, Skidmore’s regional club program strives to offer a little something for everyone.

An important piece of our regional club activity is the redesign of this website.  We have streamlined the look and navigation to make it more user-friendly and provide more useful information.  A few of the key highlights are:

  • Individual pages for each active club personalized by the volunteers in that area.
  • A "Submit an Event" option for alumni to post their own events such as theater performances, music performances, or gallery shows.
  • A photo gallery of regional events. (Work in progress...check back soon!)
  • And coming soon, you’ll be able to register for events online.

Whether you’re new to an area or have been a long time resident, it’s never too late to start attending regional events.  If you’re traveling on business you are also welcome to attend a Skidmore event in your destination city.  Just check the calendar of events for the next available opportunity.

If you have questions about an event or activity in your area, please call the Office of Alumni Affairs & College Events at (518) 580-5610, send an email to alumniclubs@skidmore.edu, or continue to investigate the Website.
