Skidmore College alums in New York City are launching a new networking effort. The Skidmore Business Network is designed for graduates of the college who work in business, finance, law and related fields such as marketing, consulting and public relations. Organizers said the goal is to allow professionals to learn new business strategies, build alliances and share ideas for success. The SBN at first will be based in New York City, but organizers said they hope other chapters will be formed in other cities.
