We are a commercial finance company that provides equipment financing to venture capital backed startup companies and turnaround situations..basically unbankable credits due to lack of revenues or losses.
We also provide asset based loans to small and medium sized companies. We're based in Boston, but we work nationally. Some of our clients in the past have included companies that are NOW public...Earthlink, AOL, Medimmune and Sports Authority.
Its not what makes "me" good...its that our company provides a service to companies that could not otherwise secure debt financing through traditional sources such as banks. My competitive edge is that my competitors all take equity and I don't.
I have a company to run!
Several deals...all VC backed...none profitable...interesting concepts.
Skiing in the winter and riding in the summer and traveling in-between
Still here...but at least double in size.
Networking opportunities.
Services of my company.
It could be the road trip to see the Dead at Colgate in a borrowed car. It was foggy so we drove with the door open so we could see the road lines. The car smelled...but we couldn't find anything and we didn't have a key to the trunk. Turned out there was a dead quail in the trunk (her brother had borrowed the car and had been hunting) ....and Moore Hall....lots of great memories I'm sure..just can't remember them!
