
Cynthia Conley, VP and associate general counsel for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, named Overseer of Boston Boys & Girls Club
Cynthia Conley is Vice President and associate general counsel, and the senior human resources officer, for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Her principle responsibilities are to lead the strategic direction of HR, to direct the HR and organizational effectiveness activities of the Bank, and to contribute to HR strategy and planning across the 12 Reserve Banks. She is also a legal officer of the Bank, as well as the Bank's Deputy Ethics Officer. Ms. Conley recently has assumed responsibility for the Bank's newly established Diversity Office. Previously, Ms. Conley served as Corporate Secretary, Corporate Policy Officer for the Office of the President, Attorney and Legal/Financial Analyst in the Bank Supervision and Regulation Division. Ms. Conley currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Greater Boston Executive Program at MIT's Sloan School. For many years, she served in a voluntary capacity as a director and president for the Federal Reserve Bank's employee credit union. Ms. Conley obtained a Bachelors degree from Skidmore College and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Federal District Court for the First District.
