David Domozych, Professor of Biology, is a plant cell biologist interested in the subcellular componentsand mechanisms involved in Extracellular Polymeric Substance (EPS) production in the green algae, the desmids. In addition, he is interested in the role of these EPS macromolecules in the formation and maintenance of biofilms in acid bogs. He is also interested in the evolution of cell wall polymers in the green algal group ancetssral to land plants, the Charophyceae

Cathy Domozych, Senior Teaching Associate, Her research interests include the evolution of green plants and desmid assemblages in biofilms.

Steven Frey, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, is an inorganic chemist whose research is focused on the study of metal-substituted clays. He is interested in these materials as potential catalysts, chemical sensors, molecular hosts and/or ionically-conducting membranes.

Richard Lindemann, Associate Professor of Geosciences, is a geologist whose research centers on the systematics and biostratigraphy of dacryonarids, an extinct and enigmatic group of zooplankters from the Devonian period. His work employs various types of light and scanning electron microscopy.

Jennifer Bonner, Assistant Professor of Biology, is a neurobiologist who studies the genes that influence axon guidance in the developing spinal cord of the zebrafish, using transgenic, genetic, and gene knock-down technology.

John Danison, Assistant Director of the Center for Information Technolgies (Art Department), teaches 3D animation and has worked with many faculty creating digital content for teaching, research and presentation. he created the website for the Emmy winning PBS documentary "Divided Highways" in association with Florentine Films. Some of his students have gone on to careers in computer graphics and have worked on such films as "Terminator", "Monsters, Inc." and "Titantic".
