Can you dig it? - Skidmore's student gardeners employ organic practices: using compost, weeding by hand, and no pesticides.The goal is to provide organic, locally grown produce to the dining hall, while offering students a hands-on learning opportunity. The garden and herb bed are maintained by the Skidmore Student Garden group, and use compost created by the campus composting project.
