The Adventure Challenge Course

The Adventure Challenge Course pre-orientation is experiential group development that is intesified by the use of high and low ropes course elements and adventure-based activities designed to foster community and team building.  This pre-orientation will build relationships, promote leadership development, and empower participants to explore their unique leadership abilities.

Direct engagement in hands-on adventure challenge initiatives encourages participants to reach beyond their perceived limitations and face the challenges of physical and emotional risks in a safe environment.  By facing these challenges, exploring perceived limitations, and changing these perceived limitations into abilities, participants learn a great deal about themselves and others.  Sharing this common experience lays the foundation for teams to begin to explore and identify elements of effective teamwork by looking at the ways in which they make decisions, problem solve, establish goals and manage conflict.  Goal setting, review and reflection are training elements that help participants transfer learning directly to their learning environment.
