Students with an interest in journalism will collaborate with Skidmore News staff members to create in-depth news articles, features and reviews for the paper's first issue. Students interested in the art of photojournalism, page layout and comics are also encouraged to participate. Working with an Editorial Board, learning the ins and outs of journalism and seeing your work in print are just some of the many rewards the program offers. You will also learn from industry professionals, including a reporter, editor and photojournalist.

The program will help participants develop strong and lasting friendships while becoming better readers, writers and researchers.  This is also a great opportunity to explore downtown Saratoga Springs, and become actively engaged in the Skidmore campus life.
