SCOOP WILDERNESS - HIKING

SCOOP WILDERNESS - Hiking is an outdoor experience that cannot be compared to any other. You'll hike (with your full backpack) over twenty miles in four days in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, view vistas of incomparable beauty, swim in crystal clear lakes, hear the loons as you make roast marshmallows around the camp fire at night, sleep in tents under the stars, and get to know everyone along the trail as you learn what's great about Skidmore and Saratoga Springs. SCOOP Wilderness equals friendships that last forever and countless unforgettable memories.

Experienced licensed guides and SCOOP Peer Advisors will ensure your safety and enjoyment. Students who opt for this program will be provided with a list of camping needs.  We urge you to wear broken in hiking boots. Other wilderness options are canoeing or a combination of hiking and canoeing.
