David 
As Interim Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Campus Life, David Karp oversees the offices of Leadership Activities, Diversity Programs, Religious Life, and Volunteer Services. The Associate Dean assists students in making meaningful connections to campus life and fostering informed citizenship, leadership, and social responsibility. David Karp is also Associate Professor of Sociology and previously Chair of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work and Director of the Program in Law and Society. His scholarship focuses on restorative justice in community and campus settings and on prison programs preparing inmates for return to the community. He has published five books and more than 75 academic papers. His most recent books are Restorative Justice on the College Campus and Wounds That Do Not Bind: Victim-Based Perspectives on the Death Penalty. He received a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Washington.

Barb has held several different positions within the Office of Leadership Activities and has over 30 years of dedicated service to the students of Skidmore.  As the Associate Director her primary responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the office, advising the Student Government Association, providing oversight of student activity fee allocations and expenditures, advising the class councils, and being a resource advisor to all student clubs and organizations.

She lives in Greenfield, NY with her husband, 2 dogs and 2 horses.  She enjoys riding, reading and quilting but most of all, she likes spending time with family and friends.

Robin Adams
Robin received his B.A. in English literature from Skidmore College in 2000.  After a brief stint at Abbeville Press in Manhattan, he returned to Saratoga Springs and Skidmore College where he has worked since 2004.  As an advisor to many of Skidmore's clubs and organizations he helps ensure that their events run smoothly as well as oversees the implementation of the LateNight program.

When not at work Robin can be found on the tennis courts (in the summer) or watching his beloved Philadelphia Flyers (in the winter).

Kris has been a member of the Leadership Activities team as the Student Government Bookkeeper since May 2003. Before that Kris was the Manager of the Student Credit Union when she joined Skidmore College in the spring of 2001. Kris has over fifteen years of financial experience including being an experienced tax preparer and a Notary Public. She moved from Long Island, NY to beautiful Upstate, NY, twelve years ago. Kris lives in Greenfield with her husband, two teenaged sons, and her two dogs. She has a passion for skiing, playing the piano, and learning to speak Italian.

Alyssa Kienast
Alyssa Kienast has been a member of the Leadership Activities team since January 2006 and is in charge of scheduling all co-curricular events on campus.  Prior to working at Skidmore, Alyssa was an Admission’s Information Technician and student at Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT.  Alyssa has thoroughly enjoyed her transition from Admissions to Campus Life and is excited about her future career in academia.

Alyssa lives in Greenwich, NY, with friends.  In her spare time she enjoys concerts at SPAC, traveling, the NY Yankees, and the beach.

Marie DiMauro
Marie is a graduate of Providence College and has a BS in Accounting. She also studied abroad at the Universite de Fribourg in Switzerland. She lives in Wilton with her husband and four children. She is an avid Red Sox fan, and a member of St. Clements Parish where she volunteers in the Welcoming Ministry. Her children attend St. Clements and SPA Catholic Schools where she volunteers for Bingo, Basketball Concession Manager and Sports Banquet Coordinator. Previously, Marie was an auditor and tax accountant for Ernst & Young.

Mariel Martin, OSDP Interim Director
Mariel received her B.A. in Sociology from Shippensburg University and her Master's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. She is excited to embark on her fourth year at Skidmore as Interim Director of Student Diversity Programs and teaching a First-Year Seminar Course about the history of diversity at Skidmore and within higher education. Mariel is a certified anti-gay bias trainer, trained mediator, and social justice advocate. Her research and academic background focuses on educational experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth and motherhood, role negotiation and kinship formation in lesbian-parented families. Most recently, Mariel's interests include anti-racism strategies, issues of whiteness and privilege, and the intersections of race, sexual orientation and gender identity. Rosana Lemus, OSDP Program Coordinator 
Rosana completed her BA in Liberal Arts as well as her MA in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She is thrilled to begin her first year at Skidmore working in both the OSDP and Residential Life.  Throughout her graduate work, she saw the increased importance of diversity and the ways it impacts students and the overall community. She completed her internship in the Multicultural Students Affairs office and became an ally by participating in programs presented by the LGBT office. In addition, she has sought other opportunities to expand her knowledge and understanding of diverse issues such as mentor training for minorities. She brings an open mind and positive attitude to the position.

Rabbi Linda Motzkin was ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 1986. She has a BA in Hebrew Language from the University of California at Berkeley and an MA in Hebrew Letters from HUC-JIR. Prior to her arrival at Skidmore in 1986, she taught in the Judaic Studies department at the University of Cincinnati. She is the author of four Hebrew language textbooks published by UAHC press. In addition to serving as Skidmore's Jewish Chaplain, she is co-rabbi, together with her husband Rabbi Jonathan Rubenstein, of Temple Sinai of Saratoga Springs. Rabbi Motzkin has a close relationship with all of the local Jewish congregations in Saratoga Springs and works to foster connections between Skidmore students and the local community.

Margo Bloom Olson is Coordinator of Jewish Student Life and Interfaith Programming. Margo lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband and three young children. She received a BA in Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Masters in Education from the State University of New York at Albany. Margo spent four years at the National Museum of Racing as Curator of Education. Prior to the Racing Museum, she served for almost eight years as Director of Education at the Junior Museum in Troy. She is an active member of Temple Sinai where she helps coordinate educational programs and fund raising events. She volunteers with the Saratoga Open Space Project, Lake Avenue School PTA, and the National Museum of Dance.

The "Coordinator for Catholic Student Life" is Catherine Wagner Minnery, who joined the Chaplain's Office in August, 2002. Previously, she was a Pastoral Associate for Youth Ministry at the Church of St. Peter, Saratoga Springs where she is a parishioner. A native of Ohio, she and her family lived in South Dakota and Mississippi before moving to New York. Since 1990, the Minnerys have been residents of Saratoga Springs. Educated in the Fine Arts, Catherine is a working and exhibiting artist. She has worked as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator and Art Director for several corporations and large retail businesses. She has a Certificate in Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and a BS in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati. Catherine has pursued theological studies at St. Bernard's Institute in Albany and has volunteered as a hospital chaplain at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. A love of the outdoors and a striving for a sacramental view of our world and every day life nourishes and inspires her art and prayer life. Recognizing the importance of the Church’s social justice teachings has lead to a personal commitment to the teachings and a relationship with Catholic Relief Services. In March 2002, she was a "Called to Witness" trip participant and traveled to Rwanda to see first hand the programs that CRS is implementing in that African country. In January and February, 2003, the Albany Diocese Pastoral Center hosted an exhibit of her works on paper, photos, and writing that came out of this experience. Her “Called to Witness: Rwanda” exhibit has been shown in many different venues regionally and in New York City, and at Catholic Relief Headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
