The Career Services staff is eager to address the career concerns of alumni. We understand that alumni frequently need support as they negotiate career transitions. In fact, after seniors, alumni are the group most frequently served by the office.

Career Services for Alumni

Schedule an in-person or telephone appointment to speak with a career counselor - discuss and develop career goals, receive advising regarding job search strategies, networking, and resume development, and/or review effective graduate school application planning.

Career Help for Alumni
The College has undertaken several initiatives to help alumni enhance their prospects of employment and/or graduate school opportunities in the on-going economic downturn.

Registration
Register with Career Services to receive information on jobs and careers in your field(s) of interests. Registration will also provide access to JobCentral, the pathway to the Career Services job postings for Skidmore College's recent alumni.

Passwords
Access CSO passwords for job and career resources.

JobCentral
Employment resources including the Recruiting Program, entry-level job listings, post-grad internships, job fairs and more job resources.

Career Services Newsletter
Sign-up to receive our newsletter, which is full of mostly entry-level job postings, as well as some positions for experienced candidates, employment information, and career resources.

Career Network
The Office of Career Services has information on file for about 2100 alumni & parents who will provide career advice to alumni. This information is searchable by career field, geographic location and major.

Free SuccessHawk Premium Membership

We can let you know if there are any colleges in your area that allow non-affiliates to access their career resources and job listings. Or we can help you learn how to identify qualified career counselors in your area.

The Alumni Affairs Office works closely with Career Services to assist alumni and students in job searches.
