Alumni / Parent Back to Campus Recruiting Program

The early stages of post-graduate life are often filled with turmoil and transition for liberal arts graduates. Career Services knows that once alumni are established in the world of work, many are eager to provide assistance to other members of the Skidmore community regarding career concerns. The Alumni Back to Campus recruiting program was developed with this in mind.  Parents are welcome to participate, as well.

Upon your return to campus, there will be many options for helping students with the ABC's of job and/or internship searching, including:

• interviewing candidates for job openings or bringing resumes back to your organization and advocating on behalf of our students
  
• providing informational sessions about your company, jobs and/or internships available, and career opportunities
  
• addressing classes and/or presenting to relevant student organizations about careers with your company

Career Services is able to offer a room at the Surrey, as well as a travel stipend to alumni recruiters who will be interviewing, conducting company information sessions, and/or collect resumes for job openings at their employer.
