The Times2Challenge provides an opportunity for alumni in the classes of 2008 through 1999 to have their contributions this year spark an additional dollar-for dollar gift to Skidmore.

How does it work?

All increased gifts qualify for the dollar for dollar challenge.  Simply put, if you gave $25 last year and $50  this year, Skidmore will receive an additional $50 from the Challengers.  If you didn't give anything last year but give a $30 now, the College  will receive an additional $30 from the Challengers.

Why should I participate?

 Did you know that the ten youngest classes account for more than 25 percent of the total alumni body? That means that the power to positively impact participation at Skidmore is in our hands. Every gift, at every level, is put immediately to work supporting today's Skidmore students and faculty.

What do I do?

Make your increased gift now! If you'd like, it can be split into automatic monthly installments between now and May 31, 2009, and the entire amount is eligible for the challenge.  Also, check if your employer (or your spouse's) participates in corporate matching, which is essentially "free" support for Skidmore – and you receive the credit!

How do I know if or how much I gave last year?

The last fiscal year started June 1, 2007 and ended on May 31, 2008.  Your can see your giving history on Skidnet, Skidmore's online alumni community, through the link on the left-hand navigation of this page.  If you forgot your username and password, email djenks@skidmore.edu.
