College-Wide Honors
The department is proud that so many of its majors receive recognition during their years at Skidmore for their excellent academic work. Some of our students have been inducted into the national Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, still more into Skidmore's own Periclean Honor Society, and many of our majors and minors make the Dean's List and later graduate summa cum laude, magna cum laude, or cum laude. How appropriate that Classics students are lauded in Latin!
