 THE CLASSICS MINOR check-list:

 Twenty credit hours, including a minimum of

  • Reading proficiency of Greek or Latin at the 200-level, demonstrated by completion of the following: CG210 or CL210;

  • Gateway course: CC200;

  • Two courses from the following, each from a different cluster:

              a.   Literature: CC220, CC222, CC223, CC224


              b.   History: HI203, HI204, HI205, HI206; CC226


              c.   Art History: AH222, AH223; and

Majors and minors are encouraged to study the modern languages (French, German, and Italian) in which there is an abundance of scholarship available in classics.

                          ~~ DECLARATION OF MINOR FORM ~~

To officially declare a minor in Classics, you need to complete the Declaration of Minor Form in duplicate.  One form must go to the Office of the Registrar and the other to Ruby Grande, Department Secretary.
