Spring 2009 Newsletter

Dear Classics students, alumni, and friends:

Salvete! Χαίρετε! Another decade, another newsletter. Much has changed over the past ten years: new faculty; new courses; rising enrollments; and enhanced opportunities for study abroad. One thing has not changed, namely our commitment to making Classics accessible to our students, our college, and our community. Our mission to shape the future of our students through the study of the past remains as you will see in this newsletter. At the same time, we want to hear from our alumni - on your post-Skidmore lives and careers. When you get a chance, keep us informed! We're pleased to share this news about Alex Carballo '01.

So here's to the last decade, and the next!  But you won't have to wait that long to hear from us again.

Dan Curley, Associate Professor and Chair of Classics

Newsletter edited by Ross Jaffe '11 and Prof. Michael Arnush
