NON-REQUIRED MEAL PLANS  2008-2009              Meal Plan Sign-up

You’re supposed to be spending your time studying right?  If you are living in Scribner Village, Northwoods or off campus you will not be assigned a meal plan.  That means you are going to be shopping, cooking, and worst of all, doing the dishes.  We can help.  We have a variety of meal plans available for you to choose from that will allow you to live on more than Ramen noodles and catsup sandwiches!
If you anticipate using the dining hall frequently, you should consider purchasing an Unlimited Plan, which will offer you unrestricted access to the dining hall whenever you desire.  Want to make all that shopping, cooking, and doing dishes go away? Then this is the plan for you.  With an Unlimited Plan, we’ve got you covered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner….we even throw in that late-night snack or, if you’re late for class, you can quickly grab a cup of coffee on the fly.

DINING BUCKS PLANS

Cost Receive Bonus
Level I $250 $260 in value 4%
Level II $500 $550 in value 10%
Level III $1000 $1150 in value 15%

Dining bucks can be used in any of the dining services facilities including Murray-Aikins Dining Hall, Burgess Café, Spa Snack Bar, and the Atrium.  In addition, dining bucks may also be used in campus vending machines.  Dining bucks can be carried from the fall semester to the spring semester but any unused dining bucks will be forfeited at the end of the spring semester, so keep this in mind when you are purchasing your dining bucks option.  There is no deadline for purchasing one of these plans, you can get one at anytime during the semester; also, if your plan runs out you can always come in to purchase another one.  Just like a meal plan, you are not required to pay for your dining bucks plan at the time of purchase; it can be charged to your student account and a bill will be sent to your billing address. We recommend that if you want to purchase a meal/dining bucks plan that you do it online at http://www.skidmore.edu//foodservice/plan_change.cfm prior to your arrival.  This will allow you to avoid the lines at the Card Office and also it will allow you access to the dining halls upon your arrival.  Meal plan purchases will be reflected on your next billing statement
