Description:
"Elevator Music: Doug Van Nort: Constellate" Sound artist and experimental musician Doug Van Nort's work explores the radical sculpting of sonic environments, noise, immersion and the embodied nature of listening. "Constellate" turns the Tang elevator into a resonant sound-producing body for which Van Nort has created an original composition.
Attendance Info: Free and open to the public. Tang Museum hours: Tuesday-Sunday noon-5 p.m. July and August open Fridays until 7 p.m.
