"Eyewitness in Kabul: one month in war-torn Afghanistan"

Description:
Lecture and Q&A about the effects on the people of Afghanistan of our ten-year war there.

Ed Kinane just returned from a month in Kabul, and was in Iraq with Voices in the Wilderness for five months at the time of "Shock and Awe" in 2003. He has been a life-long activist for social causes, having traveled in Africa for three years, and joined the anti-apartheid movement there and in the U.S. He has demonstrated against the School for the Americas and been jailed twice for it (a total of 12 months).
