Location: Starbuck Center: 2nd Floor Conference Room
Date: 11/02/2011
Time: 7:00 PM
Open to campus community only.
Speaker: Emily Kowalski/Rachel Konowitz '11
Description:
Come find out about PIRG's Campus Organizer Position and Fellowship Program.
U.S. PIRG is a national federation of state-based, nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy groups working on behalf of the public.
Campus Organizers tap into student idealism and energy running three to six campaigns. Campus organizers achieve concrete social change while developing the next generation of leaders.
The U.S. PIRG Fellowship Program develops recent college graduates into leaders in the movement for social change. Fellows conduct research, make the case for solutions, build broad coalitions and lobby decision-makers to win real results.
