Description:
Skidmore's Music Department and Office of Special Programs present Ensemble ACJW, composed of fellows of The Academy, a two-year program that supports young music professionals developing careers as top-quality performers, innovative programmers, and dedicated teachers engaged with their communities. The concert features a new work, commissioned by Carnegie Hall, by composer Samuel Carl Adams, plus Mozart's "Quintet for Clarinet and Strings" in A Major. (K. 581) and Tchaikovsky's "Souvenir de Florence for String Sextet," Op. 70.
