Global Poetry Fest!
Location: Falstaff's
Date: 12/12/2012
Time: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Description:
The Foreign Languages and Literatures Department cordially invites you to participate in our annual Global Poetry Fest. Students of all levels of foreign language classes as well as their professors are welcome to contribute to this extraordinary global culture event by reciting a poem, or sign a song in their respective foreign language. The recited poetry, or the songs, can be by more of less famous and popular poets or songwriters, or they can be created originally. All poems and songs of the event need to be emailed by November 30 in their original form with English translation to Prof. Karin Hamm-Ehsani (khammehs@skidmore.edu), so they can be included in a booklet that will be handed out to all participants at the event. We are looking forward to your contribution to this exciting cultural experience!
