Women’s Foreign Policy Group Annual NY Mentoring Fair

Location: New York University

Date: 02/20/2013

Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Description:
Open to all students (undergraduate and graduate) and recent graduates. Our mentoring fair is a unique and exciting opportunity for students to meet with mid- to senior-level international affairs professionals and learn from their career experiences in an informal setting. Unlike a career fair, the focus is on entering and succeeding in international career fields, not just opportunities at particular companies. Sectors include international development, NGOs, human rights, international law, international health, international business, diplomatic service, the UN, journalism and communications. 2013 Women’s Foreign Policy Group MENTORING FAIR registration is now open. The program provides an opportunity to speak informally with senior-level international affairs experts about the skills required to break into the global job market and hear valuable advice and guidance regarding career planning and internships. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as young professionals. This year the event will be co-sponsored by and held at NYU.
