Lecture/demonstration. UnPlug Yourself with Yoga
Location: Wilson Memorial Chapel
Date: 02/17/2013
Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Speaker: Ray Crist, Shaman, the Jaguar Path
Description:
Ray Crist, founder of the Jaguar Path, is a dynamic yoga teacher who has been initiated as a healer and teacher by the Quero Indians in the Andes of Peru. He has traveled around the world in search of indigenous healers, shamans, and yogis to heal himself from cancer. His search led him from Northern Thailand through Mexico to the mountains and jungle of Peru. He is trained and certified in several modalities and Yoga and Shamanism are his dharma and his way of life. This is the first of four events inviting students to learn new ways to unplug from our electronic dependencies. No previous experience necessary.
