Description:
Dr. Cornel West, the Class of 1943 University Professor in the Center for African American Studies at Princeton, comes to Skidmore as the result of a collaboration among the divisions of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Human Resources in support of Goal Two of the College's Strategic Plan: intercultural and global understanding. Dr. West will lend his voice to an ongoing campuswide discussion of race, gender, class, religion and nation.
