Alex Sanchez will discuss personal stories about growing up gay and a Mexican immigrant, how he came to write his books, the remarkable effect his books are having on young people across the country and internationally, issues of sexual orientation and homophobia, and the impact each individual can have on the world. It’s an upbeat and inspiring presentation about overcoming challenges, being true to yourself, and helping to make a better world.
