Electrocardiograph or ECG / EKG
The Electrocardiograph (ECG or EKG) System in the Human Performance Teaching Laboratory at Skidmore College is a non-invasive method used to measure electrical changes in the heart. The record, or electrocardiogram, is displayed visually as a series of waves relating to each electrical impulse occurring during each heartbeat.
