Current Research Interests:

Professor Ormsbee's research interests include training and nutritional interventions (both macronutrients and supplements) to prevent obesity and obesity-related diseases (the metabolic syndrome), achieve optimal body composition, and optimize athletic performance. Dr. Ormsbee has most recently been researching the effects of resistance exercise on the regulation lipid metabolism.
