Over the course of its history, Skidmore has enjoyed strong, progressive leadership from seven successive presidents, each of whom envisioned Skidmore as one of the nation's elite liberal arts colleges. To raise Skidmore to this level, the College has relied on the generous support of its leadership donors, the Friends of the Presidents.
Last year, more than 1,000 alumni, parents, and friends fueled Skidmore's momentum; as Friends of the Presidents, they made leadership level gifts totaling $20 million - accounting for 90 percent of all funds raised by Skidmore.
Today, Skidmore's national profile has never been more prominent and the future has never looked brighter. And yet, to maintain Skidmore's unprecedented momentum, the College must continue to rely on FOP support so that it can achieve its ultimate potential.
