Electronic Mail at Skidmore

One of your rights and responsibilities as a new student is the creation of a system login and password that will remain with you throughout your Skidmore career and will give you access to your Skidmore email account along with other computer resources. If you have not yet done so, please create your account before attempting to access your email.

Your Skidmore e-mail address is your username followed by @skidmore.edu. Thus, for example, if your username is msmith, then your e-mail address is msmith@skidmore.edu

You can read and send mail via the College's web mail client, which is located at

http://owa.skidmore.edu

Please note:
- For your Domain\user name, type in either skidmore\your username or your username@skidmore.edu (i.e. your entire email address). Example: skidmore\jdoe or jdoe@skidmore.edu
- Check the password rules page before creating your password. For your password, type in your password, then click Log on. The password field is case-sensitive!. For security reasons, do NOT check "Remember my password."

Our spam firewall blocks e-mail from some parents and other important sites you might need to use. Please whitelist those e-mails that are important to you immediately so that you can avoid having them blocked. Instructions for whitelisting an e-mail address can be found at
