FYE in London students meet with U.S. Embassy official: Anika Bahra '12, Adam Jaouad '12,and Sam Margolius '12 are among the FYE in London participantsAdam Margolius '12 - FYE in London who were visited by Vice Consul Wendy Kolls of the U.S. Embassy in London. Ms. Kolls, the Embassy's Voting Assistance Officer, met with the students in their London residence hall with information and materials to help them complete the final step of the absentee voting process. The Vice Consul also brought Federal Write-In Absentee Ballots for those students who had not yet received their absentee ballots. Ritika Singh '10 works on the Obama campaign: When Ritika Singh campaigns for Barack Obama, few people ask her whether she’s voting for him. But if they did ask, they might be surprised — Singh doesn’t plan to cast a ballot for the Illinois senator she admires. The Skidmore College sophomore, who speaks flawless English, is an Indian citizen.


Pencils and Passports: Spring break isn’t what it used to be. These days, a number of Skidmore students spend their breaks overseas, and they take along their classmates and professors.


Morgan Weisser '09, an art major, made Morgan Weisser '09campus news... in Australia!  He was at Griffith University's Queensland College of Art (QCA) in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia during the spring 2008 semester.
