Skidmore Nutrition Action Council (SNAC)

SNAC stands as a strong force to boost and expand nutrition awareness at Skidmore College.  As an entirely student-run organization, SNAC strives to reach out to the Skidmore student community and the Saratoga Springs region through various events and efforts. The council facilitates, plans, and co-sponsors several crucial events on campus including National Nutrition Month, Skidmore Nutrition Awareness Week, Eating Disorder Awareness Week, and Healthy Food Night in the dinner hall.

Skidmore Pride Alliance (SPA)
Skidmore’s Pride Alliance is committed to creating a fair and safe forum for discussion and to aid the queer community at Skidmore College. In addition, the Pride Alliance is committed to raising awareness, outreach, and understanding of issues pertaining to sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity/expression at Skidmore and in the community at large.

Students Promoting Action Responsibility and Knowledge (SPARK)
SPARK is a group of peer educators who promote awareness of student health issues through educational and engaging programs and Late Night events. We are interested in educating about health issues including mental health, stress management, sexual health, responsible drinking, eating disorders, and cancer awareness.

The Center for Sex and Gender Relations
Skidmore's Center for Sex and Gender Relations is a student initiated center for advocacy, training, and education pertaining to all aspects of sexual health and sexual conduct. The Center forms partnerships with on and off campus service providers for information and counseling referral. The purpose of the Center is to offer a safe, confidential space where students may have open and frank discussions of sexual and relationship issues.
