What colors can I use on my website?
Skidmore College has a Graphic Standards Manual to govern the use of the college seal, watermark and trademarked graphics -- position, placement, colors and permissions. Using a consistent color scheme across CMS websites helps to reinforce the Graphic Standards already in place, and and give a sense of unity to our Web sites and other forms of communication. These standards have been created to assist offices and departments campuswide in strengthening the Skidmore message and graphic identity.
The table below shows you the palette of colors available and approved for CMS website use.

As illustrated below, one place that you will find application of color is in the creation of tables in the CMS. You can use colored rows to set off titles, categories, and help you create a more pleasing visual representation of your data. You would simply enter the hex color code (#848484 in the example) into the appropriate area to add color wherever the template allows. This example is found under the Advanced properties of Table Cell editing.
