Faculty Recommendation
The faculty charge to Honors Council is to administer a program for approximately ten per cent of the student population (of roughly 225 members) whose gpa places them in the top 20% of all Skidmore students. Honors Forum membership is not an entitlement for students, even those with the qualifying gpa. Membership selection is competitive. Therefore, we ask faculty members to help us discern the students whom they believe will play a significant role in enhancing the academic life at Skidmore.
