If you are working with other HF students who are also fulfilling the Citizenship Requirement with this project, remember to enter their names as well!

Please write a short general overview of your proposed project

What is your motivation for doing this project?

How will your proposed project be academically rigorous?

Where will this project be done?

What community will benefit from your project, and how?

Is this project related to a course you will be taking while you are completing your project? If so, how will the project go beyond the content and scope of that course?  (Recall that this project cannot be done for academic credit.)

Provide a general timeline for your project, including an estimate of how many hours the project will take.  (Recall that you must complete 15 hours of work in one semester, including preparation.)

Will your project require special funding? You are encouraged to apply for Student Opportunity Funds from the Dean of Students. If you are requesting financial assistance from the Honors Forum, you must fill out an Honors Forum Programming Funds: Activities and Co-Sponsorship Request Form (see Student Forms on this site).

What might your final reflection piece be?  It could be a paper, a presentation, an album, artwork, etc.

Is there anything else you would like the committee to know about your project?
