Dear Friend of Skidmore Athletics,
One of the most gratifying experiences enjoyed by members of the Skidmore community is the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of one of our own. The Friends of Skidmore Athletics Committee (FOSA) is actively seeking to identify individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Skidmore athletics and have helped bring excellence and distinction to the College and its athletic program. These individuals will be considered for induction into Skidmore’s Athletics Hall of Fame, which is located in the Main Lobby of the Sports and Recreation Center. The induction ceremony will take place during the Annual Friends of Skidmore Athletics Dinner on Saturday, September 28.
The FOSA Hall of Fame Committee needs your help. If you know of individuals who meet the criteria for any of these awards, we’d like to hear from you.

Categories:
Student-Athletes: Any alumna or alumnus who actively participated in athletics and brought recognition and honor to Skidmore College through their outstanding achievements while a student-athelete. In order to be eligible for this award, five years must have passed since the alumna or alumnus's time of graduation.
Team: Any team that has brought recognition and honor to Skidmore College by its outstanding achievements. In order to be eligible for this award, five years must have passed since the time of the accomplishment.
Team of Distinction: Any team that was instrumental to the growth and further development of the sport at Skidmore and has brought recognition and honor to the College.
Administrator/Staff: Any staff member of the Skidmore College Athletics Program. In order to be eligible for this award, the individual must have served as a member of the staff for at least five years and must have been retired from college coaching or administration for at least one year.
Special Recognition: Any other individual who does not meet one of the aforementioned categories but has made outstanding contributions to Skidmore athletics and has helped bring excellence and distinction to the College and its athletic program.
