Academic Technologies promotes and supports technology-enabled learning, with a dynamic and interdisciplinary team of people and a broad range of services to assist faculty in their teaching, research, and curriculum development.

Our services to faculty include project consultation and support, Blackboard, our learning management system, digital media production services for video, audio, and image projects, faculty training, and support of technologies for teaching and research. We work closely with faculty on projects that depend on innovative technologies. Please see our Technologies page for more detail on what we support.

• Technology training and pedagogy workshops are held in the Instructional Technology Center (Harder 110), providing opportunities to explore the use of new and emerging technologies in the classroom. The center doubles as a collaborative and interdisciplinary work space where faculty, students, staff, and instructional technologists can work together on a wide range of academic projects.
• The Skidmore GIS Center for Interdisciplinary Research provides students and faculty with the resources and expertise to incorporate GIS and related geospaital technology into course offerings and research across academic disciplines.  Read more.
