Although IT is more than happy to create custom web applications when needed, users should first look at the availability of purchasing third party applications. Third party applications should be evaluated based on cost, features, reviews/recommendations, and the availability of long term support from the vendor. Only if a suitable product can not be found will custom development be considered. Cost should not be the sole deciding factor to not purchase an application. Remember that there is a staffing/developer cost to the college for creating custom applications. If you have any questions about funding application purchases please contact the Director of IT.
