Classroom Technology

All Skidmore general classrooms are fully networked Multimedia (Instructional Technology) classrooms. Unless otherwise stated, each room contains Windows and Macintosh computers with DVD-ROM, VHS videocassette/DVD player, computer/video projector, sound reinforcement for all components, and external inputs for laptop and video.

All switching is controlled by a push button control panel. These panels are set to operate in a similar manner across the campus.

There are presently two types of controllers to operate the AV equipment in the classroom consoles. The original black-colored control panel with up to 4 sources, and the new White-colored control panel with up to 6 sources.  For operating instructions, please check the color of the panel in your classrooms and click on the appropriate link below.
