Benjamin Givan Office: Zankel 213 Benjamin Givan, Associate Professor of Music, teaches courses in music history and theory. He is the author of The Music of Django Reinhardt (U. Michigan Press, 2010) and has published articles about jazz in journals such as Current Musicology, The Musical Quarterly, Popular Music and Society, Journal of the Society for American Music, and Journal of Musicology. He received an A.B. in Music and History from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Music from Yale University. |
