
![]() Anne Zwick Turner Email: aturner@skidmore.edu Phone: 518-785-6921 (home) Several of Professor Turner's voice students from Skidmore College have gone on to outstanding music schools for graduate work, and several have worked and/or are currently working professionally as opera singers with such companies as Atlanta Opera, Boston Early Music Festival, Kansas City Lyric Opera, Shreveport Opera, Ohio Light Opera, and Des Moines Metro Opera. Ms. Turner coordinates the vocal component of the music program at Skidmore, where she teaches private voice and directs the Opera Workshop.She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Rochester/Eastman School of Music with a minor in psychology, and her Masters Degree in Opera Performance from California State University at Northridge. She has been teaching voice since 1976, and studied voice with Master Voice Teacher Cornelius Reid in New York City from 1997 until his death in 2008.
