Private Lesson Scholarship Application

Please Note: Scholarships are awarded in varying amounts: 1/3, 2/3, and full. The amount you receive is dependent upon the information received from the financial aid office as to need. Scholarships are awarded on a per semester basis and as such need to be reapplied for each semester.

To be eligible for a scholarship: you must be enrolled in a music course or ensemble (in addition to the lessons) during the semester for which you are applying, and you must maintain a grade of B or better in all MU and MP courses.

You must contact your instructor to ask that he/she submit a recommendation for you. *If you have never had lessons with a Skidmore teacher; enroll, have one lesson, immediately submit your application form, and request a recommendation from the teacher.

Submission deadline: The last Monday of classes in the semester preceding the one that you are applying for (ie. apply in the fall for the upcoming spring semester).
