Benefits Fair scheduled Nov. 4

The annual Employee Benefits Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the Sports and Recreation Center.  The event is sponsored by the Office of Human Resources.

Designed to provide information at the start of benefits open enrollment, the fair will allow employees to meet representatives of various insurance and retirement plans, talk with prescription providers, visit wellness vendors, and enjoy a few extras, such as healthy/fun snacks provided by the College's food vendors, a free massage, nutritional information, and the chance to enter a drawing for one of more than 40 prizes.

Information on open enrollment and rates for 2010 benefits will be emailed to all employees on Monday, Nov. 2.  The benefits online enrollment system will be available at that time.  Open enrollment will close Monday, Nov. 30. Employees are urged to review benefits and print a confirmation statement by that time.  Any part-time employees interested in purchasing benefits may do so through the open enrollment period for coverage effective Jan. 1, 2010.  For information, please contact the Office of Human Resources.
