Just as with our international off-campus study options, Skidmore’s Off-Campus Study & Exchanges (OCSE) has developed partnerships with a variety of campuses in the United States to allow students to enhance their on-campus study with substantive off-campus experiences.
Imagine... an English student studying great American southern writers at the University of Mississippi in Oxford; an anthropology student studying Native American cultures at Northern Arizona University or the University of Alaska Southeast; an environmental science student studying forestry at the University of Idaho or studying the rain forest at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey; a government student studying peace and conflict resolution in Washington, D.C. through American University... These represent just a few of the domestic off-campus study opportunities Skidmore offers our students
Domestic study opportunities are offered through the Skidmore-Spelman Exchange Program, the National Student Exchange (NSE) at over 200 U.S. campuses, The Washington Semester at American University, and the Semester in Environmental Science at the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory.
