Congratulations! We are looking forward to meeting you! On this page you will find all the forms and information necessary to finalize your enrollment here at Skidmore College. We recommend that you use this page as a checklist to ensure that you complete every requirements.
- Have you signed your Placement Acceptance Form? If not, please consult immediately with the NSE Coordinator on your home campus. We cannot initiate your enrollment at Skidmore College until we receive the signed copy of this form.
You will also need to submit the following forms:
- Background Information (PDF 64kb): Complete and return our Background Information form to help us get to know you and prepare for your arrival (by October 1).
- Housing Questionnaire (PDF 14kb): Complete and return the attached Housing Questionnaire (by October 1).
- Course Preference Form (PDF 74kb): select courses for the upcoming semester on the attached form. Use the Skidmore College Master Schedule to find class meeting times and the College Catalog to read course descriptions. Provide some alternative course selections in case sections close for your first choice(s) (by November 1).
- Transcript Request Form (PDF 24kb): Complete and return the attached Transcript Request form (by November 15).
- Parent/Guardian Information & Release Form (PDF 28kb): Every student must complete and submit this form (by November 15).
- Send your transcript! If you, or your NSE Coordinator, have not already done so, please send your official transcript to Off-Campus Study & Exchanges, Attn: NSE Coordinator, Skidmore College, 815 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, New York, 12866.
- Set up your Skidmore email account. When you receive your Skidmore ID number, go online and set up a Skidmore email account. Communications from Skidmore College are sent via this account.
- Visit the Skidmore College Information Technology Web page for instructions on creating a student account.
- Once your Skidmore e-mail account is set up, please send a test message from your account to the Skidmore NSE Coordinator at ocse@skidmore.edu.
- Complete the Skidmore College health forms and return them to OCSE (by November 15).
- Students whose home institution is in the continental U.S., Alaska, or Hawaii please complete the forms on this page of the Health Services Web site.
- Students whose home institution is in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, or Canada please complete the forms on this page of the Health Services Web site.
- Arrival information
- Housing assignments will not be announced until a few weeks before the start of the semester (August for fall semester / January for spring semester), typically just before arrival on-campus. All housing assignment notifications will be emailed to your Skidmore email account. If you are wondering what to bring to campus, check out the Office of Residential Life Web site for a suggested packing list (and other useful information on residential life at Skidmore).
- Orientation Schedule: TBA for spring 2010.
- Campus Arrival Form (PDF 45kb): Once you have made arrangements to come to Skidmore College for the start of the semester please complete this form and return it to Kendra Nelson, NSE Coordinator, in Off-Campus Study & Exchanges, Skidmore College, 815 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, New York, 12866.
