We are delighted to welcome you to our program in Paris. What an adventure you have awaiting you! Skidmore in Paris has a long experience in hosting students and will provide you with the greatest opportunities France can offer.
Academically, the Skidmore in Paris program will offer you seemingly unlimited possibilities. We are not just for French majors; rather, we open our doors to students from almost any discipline. Take a look at our course offerings, and you will find an incredible variety. Whether courses are offered at the Skidmore Center, at such prestigious institutions as the Sorbonne, Nanterre, or the Schola Cantorum, in the private ateliers d'artistes, or in the best acting studios, you will be able to find a curriculum to meet your needs.
Personally, our program offers you the resources of one of the greatest cities on Earth. What better way to learn about French culture and become fluent in the language than to stay with a French family and be immersed in French life deep in the heart of Paris. Paris is a big city and definitely a French city. Many French behaviors will astonish you and even frustrate you at first. But once you take a little time to experience the French way, it won't easily leave you—France creates a need for France, and this is why so many of our students keep returning to us.
