Application Information

The 2012 Application is now closed!

Please read this ENTIRE PAGE for instructions on how to apply before continuing on to the online application. A formal audition is not required.

Summer Dance applicants will be required to submit:

• a completed online application
• $40 application fee
• resume, vita, and/or narrative describing dance training and performance experience (pdf preferred)
• Essay Response to the following two questions: (pdf preferred)
• • Do you have any experience in acting/theater?
  • What interests you about learning new skills and approaches to enhance the collaboration between dance and theater? Please note no theater experience is necessary or expected.  Your answer to this question in no way influences your acceptance to the workshop and is used to help the faculty prepare the most exciting and effective activities possible.
    
• Headshot/photo - (Optional)

All required supplemental material will be uploaded to your online application.  Please make sure you have the attachments ready and in the correct format prior to starting the online application process.

Uploads should be in the following format and be no larger than 25MB each.

Application review will begin immediately and the workshop will remain open until filled. A waiting list will be established for entrance to the program. 

International Students

In accordance with U.S. Federal regulations, all non-U.S. Citizens must have a student visa to study in the United States.  You may not attend Skidmore on a tourist visa. If you are an international student applying to the summer program please click here.
